A. 4700 N. 12th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85014
Q. What is the Pit?
A. The Pit is one of six themed rooms that together are the Lavatory experience. The Pit opens First Friday, then November 2, 2018, every day from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday through Friday and 10:00am to 10:00pm, Saturday and Sunday. The other five rooms will open December 1, 2018.
Q. What’s the Pit like?
A. The Pit is like nothing in the world except maybe the Kilauea Volcano. It’s big and loud and there is always something strange going on.
Q. What’s the difference between the Lavatory and the Pit?
A. The Pit is inside the Lavatory. Each is it’s own unique experience. You can buy a ticket to just the Pit now. You cannot buy a ticket to the entire Lavatory because we’re not done building it. Sign up on this site and we’ll let you know when tickets are available to visit the entire Lavatory.
Q. When will the entire Lavatory be open?
A. Probably December 1st. Sign up on this site and we’ll let you know when the entire Lavatory is open.
Q. Is this going to be cool?
A. It’s a tricky question to answer because we are talking about ourselves. Anything good we say is likely self-serving. I am the owner. I dreamed all this up. My name is Bill Tonnesen. I run our Instagram account. Message me anytime. The Pit is one of the coolest things you will ever experience.
Q. Is this appropriate for all ages?
A. Some times. Saturday and Sunday from 10:00AM to 8:00PM is family friendly but kids must be at least 4-feet tall and accompanied by a parent or guardian. All other times you must be 18.
Q. Is alcohol served?
Q. Can I take pictures?
A. Not in the Black Room, which is one of the themed rooms in the Lavatory. You have to sign a non-disclosure agreement to get into the Black Room and it is strictly enforced. Pics are OK everywhere else.
Q. Can I exit and re-enter?
Q. Are tickets refundable?
A. No. All ticket sales are final. Sorry but that’s really the only way to do things without getting a bunch of phony doctor’s notes.
Q. What about a custom tour or having a private party there?
A. Yes. There are options. Email us for a quick response.
Q. Can I call you?
A. Yes. And how… I never liked it when you’re on a site, like Amazon, and it’s almost impossible to call anyone. Our office number is 480.968.7895. We’re open from 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Q. If I buy a ticket, then what?
